5(i) asks for the truth value of:

$\displaystyle \forall x: \ 3-x^2 \le 9$

Now $\displaystyle x^2$ is always greater than or equal zero and has a minimum when $\displaystyle x=0$, so $\displaystyle 3-x^2$ has a maximum when $\displaystyle x=0$ and there it takes the value $\displaystyle 3 \le 9$ so the statement is true.
