    [SOLVED] Proof GCD and LCM

    hi

    This is anthoer proof that was given, which i was unable to solve :

    Define the least common multiple of two natural numbers. Prove that for any two natural numbers m and n,

    gcd(m,n)lcm(m,n) = mn

    Cans someone please help me.

    Counter example: 2, 4

    lcm(2, 4) != 8

    This classic problem needs you to find the lcm of two relatively prime numbers.

    it is said gcd(n,m)*lcm(n,m)=nm...
