    Smile Division in base 6!!!

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, seeing as I am truly very confused!

    342 divided by 12 (in base 6)

    You could convert the problem to base-ten, divide, then convert back to base-six.

    We would have: . 134 \div 8 \;=\;16,\text{ rem.}6 \quad\Rightarrow\quad 24_6\text{, rem.}10_6



    I can show you what the division looks like base-six.
