Patrick Suppes in his book ,AXIOMATIC SET THEORY on page 47 gives a good proof of :


...........P(Φ) = { Φ }, Φ being the empty set.


After that we have that:


P({Φ}) = { Φ.{Φ}} AND :

P({φ,{Φ}}) = {Φ,{Φ},{{Φ}},{Φ,{Φ}}}
