cardinality

I want to find the cardinality of the following set:

S= {1,2,...,x}


I know that cardinality means the number of elements of the set and that if the set was {1,2,3} then the cardinality will be 3.

But i find it difficult to find the cardinality of {1,2,...,x}

Can someone please help me
