    Base 12 question!

    Hi all,

I'm very confused about what the following question is asking, as well as how I'm supposed to answer it (it seems quite vague to me but that's probably because I'm confused) :

" HOW MANY DIFFERENT DIGITS ARE NEEDED FOR BASE 12"???

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

    Many thanks

That makes sense, but what are 't' and 'e'?

    Thank you so very much!
