    Was wondering if anyone knew how to do Categorical Derivations

    Trying to categorically derive G v (G --> H)

    Same as Was wondering if anyone knew how to do Categorical Derivations-capture.png

    What i did was assume the negation of this , so:

    ~(G v (G-->H) Assumption

    and then try to find G v (G-->H) so that i can use ~introduction.

    I was able to find ~G but got stuck!

    Re: Was wondering if anyone knew how to do Categorical Derivations

    The negation of A v B is ~(A v B)= ~A ^ ~B. The negation of A--> B is ~(A--> B)= ~A v ~B.
    Thanks from topsquark

    You are asking about Category Theory.
    The summer of 1992 I was in a philosophy seminar on category theory & have done nothing with it since.
    But I will say the I seem to remember that concept of negation needs special attention. But I cannot help you.
