a) X2 . Y-5 = X4 . Y3
im really stuck and don't no how to work it out.

i'm with Plato on this one. what is there to simplify?

the only thing you could do is to say, change $y^{-5}$ to $\frac 1{y^5}$, but that doesn't do much

be more specific

EDIT: i just saw that Soroban responded to this post here. do not double post, it is against the rules and it wastes peoples time. case in point, it just wasted Plato's and my time.
