    Prove that Spec√2 contains infinitely many powers of 2.

    Prove that Spec√2 contains infinitely many powers of 2.

    Spec√2 = {⌊k√2⌋:k≥0}

    I have no idea of how I can prove the statement in the question.

    I think it is the floor function: \left\lfloor {k\sqrt 2 :k \ge 0} \right\rfloor .
