Thread: please!! Help in solving this problem

I don't know how to solve this problem using induction, please help me guys

(A)Give an inductive definition of the concatenation of strings.
(B) Using the inductive definition from (A), prove that concatenation of strings is associative.

Do you know what an "inductive definition" is? If not, then the first thing you should do is look it up!
