Suggestions for learning about kNN graphs

    Hello,

I'm reading a paper titled "Cluster Identification in Nearest-Neighbor Graphs", and I'm having difficulty grasping some of the ideas. At the moment, my main concern is with kNN graphs. Are there any recommendable books that are sort of introductory to kNN graphs?

    Thanks!

P.S. Just incase notation isn't standard: kNN = k Nearest Neighbor

I was trying to find an old, freely available graph theory textbook to perhaps send you to, and I found something very interesting instead. There are now a LOT of such freely available textbooks and lecture note. And they seem to be legit and not just download sites. How does anyone make a profit anymore?
Anyway, I then googled the following, and there was a lot there: "Nearest Neighbor" graph theory pdf
Hopefully you'll find something there that will help.

Yeah, I've tried searching, there's definitely alot, too many to go through all. That's why I was hoping someone could recommend specific books, so I could focus on trying to get a hold of the book, rather than searching through them. My search usually ends up with a list of papers that are too advanced, or textbooks that don't cover enough about nearest neighbor graphs. I guess you could say I'm looking for an intermediate book, but all I'm finding are beginner and advanced level stuff

Also, I'm not asking you to do the search for me, although that would be nice ... I'm really just asking for recommended stuff that you feel would help in developing a somewhat solid understanding of nearest neighbor graphs

Sorry that I can't be of more help. I've never read about Nearest Neighbor Graphs, so don't even know where to direct you. I'm sure you'll eventually find something out there that's at the right level for you. Good luck.
