cut set

im trying to understand the meaning of a cut set and the book taht i read states that a cutset must not only disconnect the graph but no proper subset will disconnect.

may i know what does it mean by "no proper subset will disconnect."?

im trying to find out how to i identify what the cut set is for a graph

That is saying that no smaller subset of the cutset is also a cutset.
