Thread: Combinations

This was a question i was having trouble with in the Combination area.

1) From a standard pack of 52-card deck, how many 7-card hands have exactly 5 spades and two hearts?

It's the same as the number of ways of choosing 5 spades from all 13 spades, times the number of ways of choosing 2 hearts from all 13 hearts.

What does this give you?

Mmmm, i thought i did that. But somehow i must of made a calculation error, your theory proves right, thanks. =]
