    Functions Help

    Hey,

im currently having trouble trying to solve this question:

    Let A = { x E R | 1 ≤ x ≤ 2}.
    Let B = { x E R | 8 ≤ x ≤ 11}.

    Consider the function f: A → B given by f(x) = 3x + 5. Show that f is invertible and give its inverse function.

If you could help me out with this that would be great!

    Thanks
