    about ARBITRARY UNION & INTERSECTION

    I'm a bit confused with this problem...

    What do you think is the difference between...

    The union/intersection from i=1,...,n is a finite union/intersection. However the other allows for larger than finite union/intersections, ie a countable number of sets.
