    latin square problem

    a space research organisation wish to test 5 different fuels on five launchers by using a fuel on each of the five launcher . use latine square to design a suitable experiment lasting for five weeks.

    This is a statistics question.

    You need a 5 x 5 box. Across the top you label fuels A, B, C, D, and E.
    Along the side, you label launchers I, II, III, IV, and V.
    Diagonally, you label, weeks, 1,2,3,4 and 5.

    Find an example, and plug in the numbers. You don't need to think. All you need is a calculator.

    I disagree. (Mutually orthogonal) Latin squares are the `same thing' as finite affine and projective planes.

    Oh, friend, I have learned that I am such an ignorant. I learned Latin squares in statistics and forgot that branches of knowledge are interconnected. Your disagreement is well founded as your learning far exceeded mine.
