Thread: MODI Method

This is more linear programming but i really need help here.

Lets say i have my optimal solution using the VAm method. now i want to use Modi.

everywhere i look it just says ui + vj = cij

This is doing my head in. it has no explanation as to how to find any of these variables. how do i find them?

I have not used this algorithm before, but maybe this pdf (The Stepping Stone and the Modified Distribution Method (MODI), author unknown) will help you out; it gives concrete examples which hopefully translate well to your problem.
