Odd, I just answered this question. See this thread, post #5. But try to work out some stuff for yourself, since I have a complete solution up there.

Are you allowed to write a computer program? For a brute force algorithm, think about how you would test whether a given number has all its digits distinct. Hint: Use a boolean array.
