    Use the element method for proving a set equals the empty set to prove the statement. Assume all sets are subsets of a universal set U.

    Well, if crocodiles are not mammals, then there are no animal that is both a crocodile and a mammal. This is just to give an intuition. You can imagine that B is the set of crocodiles, A is the set of mammals, and start reasoning.
