so i factored 3 (3k^4- k^2 -10k) +11... so is the answer 11?

2.) (7(5k+2^(n-1))-2^n) mod 5 = ?
i have no idea how to do this one..

i have no idea how to do this one..
Represent 7 * 2^(n - 1) as 2 * 2^(n - 1) + 5 * 2^(n - 1).
