    Exclamation mod's

    1.) (9k^4 - 3k^2 -30k +11) mod 3 = ?
    so i factored 3 (3k^4- k^2 -10k) +11... so is the answer 11?

    2.) (7(5k+2^(n-1))-2^n) mod 5 = ?
i have no idea how to do this one..

    thanks for any help.

    Probably 2 is expected (11 = 3 * 3 + 2)

    Represent 7 * 2^(n - 1) as 2 * 2^(n - 1) + 5 * 2^(n - 1).
