    basic graph theory

    Can anybody help me in solving this question?
    If G is a (p, q) graph and x is a vertex in G, Show that the degree of x in G degree is p-1-dG(x).

    I don't recall the following concepts off top of my head: (p,q) graph and dG(x). Could you define them?
