Hi I have attached the question as a word file. I have done what I think are the answers, but I do not have the solutions, or systematic method to solve them, which is what I am looking for.

a) 16 - I counted the different arrangements there area of all reaching the left side, right side (these are the same), at the top, and remaining at the bottom.

b) 0

c) 16

ii) Yes, No, Yes, Yes

iii) No, Yes, Yes, Yes

Can someone give a method to tackle this question please. Thanks
