    Hi,

can you recommend a book about Theory of distributions with examples?

(test functions, distributions with compact support, partition of unity...)

I'm readind friedlander, but I need more examples.

It is an important reference, perhaps the main one, the first part of Hörmander "The Analysis of Partial diffrential equations I".

It is also nice Horvath's book "Topological vector spaces and distributions", where the point of view is more functional analytic.

For an easy introduction to the theory, Rudin's book "Functional Analysis" is perfect.

I believe that also it is worth to read "Introduction to the Theory of Distributions", from Barros-Neto
