## A little help please...

Does anyone have a short and simple proof of the theorem:

"Let*p*be a prime number. Then there exists a positive real number*x*such that*x*^2 =*p*."

The proof I have of this theorem is very long and complicated... or maybe all proofs of this theorem are long and complicated?
