Relaxation - Centroid of neighbours
Hi, Sorry for the second post in a short time.
Please could i have some help with the following prob. I am trying to move a 3d vertex to the centroid of its neighbours in 3d space (not the barycenter of a polygon) , typically called 'relaxation of a mesh'.
The mesh i have is currently embededed on a sphere. The centroid of the vertex neighbours will not be on the sphere surface so i guess i will need to normalize the vector again to project it back onto the sphere.
Does anyone have any pseudo code or algorithms or information which might be useful for finding the centroid vector of a vertex's neighbours?
