    non-regular values of f from a cpt mfd to a curve is finite.why?

    f:M------>C is a holomorphic map from an n-dimensional compact complex manifold to a curve. A is the set of non-regular values of f.
    Prove that A is finite.

    Hint: show that the critical points (points in the inverse image of non-regular values) are isolated.
