As a problem in analysis, topology, and/or differential geometry, I don't see any help to provide. You are just showing a fraction containing a different function of in the numerator and denominator. Are you looking to rationalize the denominator? That is an algebra question, and should be directed in the algebra forum. If you are looking to differentiate, that is a calculus problem, and should be asked there. You really aren't providing enough information to assist you in any way.
