Say T is the topological space that we are working with.

What is C(T) where C() is complement?

Say we have a t T
Is t not an element of C(T)?
Or is C(T) = T since T is the whole/universal space and thus t C(T)

I'm tempted to wait for a certain member to come answer this for you...
