    Fractal

    can anyone please tell me a what a fractal is and how does it work i tried to find it online but couldnt understand!

    cmon man i know this bit, what i wanna know is how does this work i hav chked out sum site myself but i cant get the idea of a fractle and how it is used, may b what i need is a example........just lyk any other mathematical theory! how does this thing works? im not a student this is just to cool my curiosity! thanks in advance

    I thought the introductory link was pretty informative. I guess then what we need to know to answer your question is just how much Math do you know? That will let us guide you better.

    Fractal

    dear sir,

    i wont say im a PhD student but im a science grad from India i run Aptech computer education classes for last 4 years...............but u try to teach me as a student, im sure wiki has everything in detail but what i couldn't get is how a fractal is used in any way.Just gimme an example.pls pls. really appreciate u taking interest in my armature query!

    Several people have tried to help you. If you cannot find an on-line resource that helps you, I doubt any of us will be able to. One practical application of fractals is in cgi. There are many others. Use Google.
