    G-Spaces and sections


    If we have a group action, say S^1-action on S^2 given by rotation around the z-axis (orbit space [-1,1]
    Then i want to show that the orbit map is an identification. But i dont know what a orbit map is?
    Can someone tell me what a "orbit map" is? I haven't found a definition in my notes.
