    Give a topology on R

    I'm asked:

'Give a topology on R, that is neither trivial nor discrete, such that every open set is closed (and vice-versa)"

I don't really know how to go about it. What thought processes should I have?

Any help would be appreciated, preferably small hints

    Thanks

How about the smallest topology in which \{0\} is both open and closed?
