    logarithm

    i really need help in this , i have no idea at all , help!

    Use logarithms to find all solutions of the following equations
    (a)     e^z= e

    (b) e^z= e^(-z)

    a) e^{z} = e \rightarrow z= 1 + 2 k \pi i

    b) e^{z} = e^{-z} \rightarrow z = k \pi i

    ... where in both cases k is an integer...
