Use logarithms to find all solutions of the following equations(a)

*e^z*=*e*

(b)*e^z*=*e^(-z)*

a) $\displaystyle e^{z} = e \rightarrow z= 1 + 2 k \pi i$

b) $\displaystyle e^{z} = e^{-z} \rightarrow z = k \pi i$

... where in both cases k is an integer...

Kind regards
