Just a quick question.

I am trying to show that the centered B-Spline, B, is given by:


B(x) = 1+x , when x belongs to [-1,0]
1-x , when x belongs to [0,1]
0 , else

Is a graphical illustration enough or should I show it in writing? I just thought that it was pretty easy to do graphically.
