i need to calculate $\displaystyle e^{-0.5}$ why the solution develops $\displaystyle e^{-x}$ and puts 0.5 and not $\displaystyle e^{+x}$ and putting -0.5 ?

Dear transgalactic, 1) You should know that, $\displaystyle a^{-x}=\frac{1}{a^x}$ 2)$\displaystyle a^{0.5}=a^{\frac{1}{2}}=\sqrt{a}$ 3) Also, $\displaystyle e\approx{2.7182818284591}$ Hope this helps you.
developing in taylor series but in the first we have libnits series and on the other not so its not the same why they are not the same?
