    Exclamation Calculating Coordinates


    Another problem! As you can see in the image below there are three base stations entitled BS1, BS2 and BS3, coordinates of them are known. Three distances between base stations and mobile station (MS) d1, d2, d3 are known as well as the angles ALPHA1 ALPHA2 and ALPHA3. How can I calculate the coordinates of the mobile station (MS) ?


    P.S. please ignore the numbers on X and Y axis

    It seems like your problem is overdetermined...unless I misunderstand you, just knowing the angle and distance to one base station is all you need, along with a little sine/cosine action to calculate the x- and y-offsets between it and the mobile station.
