    Distribution question

i got the following question from Generalized functions:
    if F(x)= n, x>1/n
what is the limit of the Fn(x),n->inf, @ dimention D'
    thanks in advance,

I have no idea what this is...but if I had to guess you're asking

    "If f_n(x)=\begin{cases} n & \mbox{if}\quad x>n\\ 1 & \mbox{if} \quad n\leqslant x\end{cases}. What is \lim_{n\to\infty}f_n(x)?"

It's pretty obvious the answer is one.

    @ bilion : what is "dimetion" ?

@ Drexel28 : this is dealing with distributions (according to the title), so it is different than functions. I don't know if the result is different too, though

Edit : and with his edit, it makes things worse
