    limits,complex numbers

    Could anybody help me with this limit please?
    I have to prove :

     <br />
\lim_{n \to \infty} (1+z/n)^n = e^z ,\ z=x+iy<br />

    Since this one of the definitions of the exponential function, we need to ask what definition of e^z you have to work with?
