    Question The World Population

    hey guys, i don't know how to solve this,

    The world population in 1990 was 5,274M and in 2000 was 6,073M. Predict the world population in 2009 and 2050 by using the Unbounded Population Model. also visit U.S. and World Population Clocks - POPClocks to find out the current world population, and compare it with your projection.

    What is the unbounded population model? \frac{dP}{dt} = kP ?

    I would use Sampras' DE with conditions - 1990 was 5,274M and in 2000 was 6,073M

    This DE

     \frac{dP}{dt}= kP

    is separable and yields

    P = Ae^{kt}
