    Finding a general solution to an exact differential equation.

    Hellooo.

    The equation reads:
    dy/dx = 5^xln5+1/(x^2+1)

    I know I need to move the dx to the other side, but after that, Idk what direction to go in.
    I'm thinking u and du?

    Have you learned how to differentiate functions of the form a^x yet? Try differentiating a^x=e^{x\ln a} and see what you get.

    The derivative of \arctan x is also \frac{1}{1+x^2}.
