Hellooo. The equation reads: $\displaystyle dy/dx = 5^xln5+1/(x^2+1)$ I know I need to move the dx to the other side, but after that, Idk what direction to go in. I'm thinking u and du?

Have you learned how to differentiate functions of the form $\displaystyle a^x$ yet? Try differentiating $\displaystyle a^x=e^{x\ln a}$ and see what you get. The derivative of $\displaystyle \arctan x$ is also $\displaystyle \frac{1}{1+x^2}$.
