Find the general solution of the differential equation.
4+xdy/dx=y^2
Using partial fractions.
(1/4 /(y-2) -1/4 /(y+2))dy/dx=1/x
Integrate b.s
1/4ln|y-2/y+2|=ln|kx|
y-2=kx^4(y+2)
solving for y
y=2kx^4+2/(1-kx^4)
The book gives an answer of y=2(1-Kx^4)/(1+kx^4).
I'll be happy if you can confirm either answer.
Thanks.
