    [SOLVED] Voltage across a charging capacitor (Using Variation of Parameters)

    I am trying to solve the DE equation for the voltage across a charging capacitor with respect to time in a simple RC series circuit.

    I am aware of other methods to solve this DE but I am specifically trying to understand where I have made a mistake(s) in solving this DE using the Variation of Parameters method.

    I have attached my working in the images below, any help or direction would be much appreciated!

    I got help from a fellow student and found the mistakes I made.
