hellooo,
i have:
Bg-g''+(1/r)g'=0
and i need to get it in the form of bessel's equation but i am struggling in doing so
i believe bessels's equation to be:
r^{2}g''+rg'+(v^{2}-r^{2})g=0
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you
I can't help but wonder if you have tried anything at all yourself. The "Bessel's equation" that you want has g'' multiplied by r^{2} so it would seem to me obvious that you need to multiply the given equation by r^{2}. And once you do that, the result just "falls out".
