    Laplace Transform of Step Function

    P((t-2)/4), P(t)=u(t+(1/2))-(u(t-(1/2))

    Find the Laplace Transform

    So I have u(t)=1

    Would this following problem u(.25t-.5)+.5)-u(.25t-.5)-.5)
    This changes to
    u(.25t)-u(.25t+1)

I don't understand how to change this to Laplace Form

Re: Laplace Transform of Step Function

    Hey bustacap09.

Hint: Note that the of H(t-a) (which is the Heaviside function) is the e^(-ap)/p = F(p).
