# Math Help - First Order Differential Equations

1. ## First Order Differential Equations

I am suppose to solve these First Order Differential Equations, and I was wanting to know what kind of tips you use to tell the difference between them. I am good on the concepts of First Order Equations but am still little uneasy on manipulating the equations in order to get the right answer. So my main concern is how to tell which equation is which from each other. The rest I can figure out.

(These equations are a mixture of linear, separable, Bernoulli and homogeneous equations.)

2. ## Re: First Order Differential Equations

#20) $y=2 x \text{ArcCot}\left[\frac{e^{-c}}{x}\right]$

3. ## Re: First Order Differential Equations

Thank you but the answer is not my concern right now. My main concern is how do you tell which type of equation is which when you look at them. How do you tell that number blah blah is linear, separable, Bernoulli or a homogeneous equations?

4. ## Re: First Order Differential Equations

What do you have as the definitions of those words?

5. ## Re: First Order Differential Equations

After doing more examples it is easier to see the difference between them. Thank
