Can anyone please help me solve the initial value problem of:
x.dy/dx - 2y = x^3 cos(x) , y(pi/2) = 0
I did get an answer but it does not agree with a mathematical software answer.


If the difficulty is that your answer does not agree with a "mathematical software answer" tell us what your answer and the mathematical software answer are, so we can check. It might be that the mathematical software answer is wrong, or that you entered the problem incorrectly, or that both are the same answer, written in different ways.
