Thread: differential equation of the second order

y'' - 2y' + 5y = 7 - 5x

find the general solution for this equation. (dunno if u call it general solution but that is my guess)

if i could get some help how to start cause i did some of the easier ones with the help of the examples but i cannot get a hold of this one, how to start?

The problem is just routine knowing the corresponding theory. Have you studied it?

anyone able to show me how to start? so i can keep going with the harder ones, like this one.
