    First Order differential equation

I am unsure how to attempt this question, Please can someone help???

Find the specific solution of the first order ODE

    dy/dx = (y^2)/(xy - x^2)

    given that y=1 when x=1

    Thanks

    Re: First Order differential equation

Since all terms in the numerator and denominator have the same degree (2) this is a "homogeneous equation".
Try the substitution v= y/x, so y= xv, to get a differential equation for v as a function of x.
