    2nd order differential equations

    If given a solution to a second order differential equation, how do I then solve it?

    Bit more information please, but I am assuming its something to do with using the wronskian, although that could be just to check if its linearly independent.

    EDIT: Reason is certain DE's require certain methods to solve.
