is there any closed form solution of the following differential equation?
x^2 y''(x) + K x y'(x) - L x y(x) = - M x^N
i have found a solution from wolfram alpha ............ but i think the solution should be little bit easier..........
and what will be the change in the solution if i modify the equation to:
x^2 y''(x) + K x y'(x) - L x y(x) = - sum (M x^N)
many many thanks in advance...........
